"At Beaulieu NMCD this year we want to celebrate 50 years of the Cooper S by having a separate parking area for 1071's, cars will be able to park together in the old location of the ex-works display by the arena, you will be able to join in on the day with your 1071, however we would like to know how many cars are likely to come so we can set aside enough space. To make the display as good as we can the cars need to be in a MK1 shell and have started life as a 63 /64 1071 S is not ment to upset anyone who's car has been modified with 1071 power, we are just trying to assemble the largest collection of factory 1071 cars we can, projects are welcome as are modified cars, and, of course standard examples, they do not have to be pristine just loved and presentable".
