I actually think the brakes were better than that. 0.8 was the minimum to pass.

I am sure the gauge reached 1.1, but it was a bit tough to see the gauge during the process of braking from 100.

yip besiktning next, but I wait for a new ECU from specialist components first.

Yes:

Everything passed the registerings besiktning except the emission, which were ridiculous.

Turned out the Lambda sensor wasn't activated on the ECU map.

Since doing that I have some issues with the mapping. On Friday specialist components remotely took control of my laptop and started to map the car. Was amazing to see. I had an issue with no spark and the car would not run so we had to stop.

I have now swapped over the relay pack and it runs again. they will remotely map the car again.

Not yet, seems good on the base map. Mapping is next on the list.

testing various filters:

I was never happy with the single sock filters, seemed like there wasn't enough space between the filter and the bonnet.

I then tried some KNfilters but this meant i had to remove the Ram pipes. I figured that they must be doing something, so best to try and keep them.

I have still to test these double socks and then the mesh filters.

I like your good work.

Regarding the filter options. Here are my views, pictures numbered 1 to 4 from top top bottom:
1. Do not use. Destroys the flow in to the trumpet totally. Better to run without trumpets. A friend tried on a race car and added three seconds to the lap time on Ring Knutstorp with the socks fitted compared to without (no filters at all in that case). Big loss of power
2. Better than socks but will most likely disturb the gas flow into the trumpets as well. Some claim that they don’t clean the air any good. I don’t know if that is true.
3. Best of the shown alternatives. Less disturbance in how the gas flows into the trumpet as it simply is lager. It still covers parts of the trumpet inlet radius. Largest filter area to clean and flow gas.
4. Useless. Terrible at cleaning the air and destroys the gas flow. Just like alternative 1 but with less filtering function.

I would have chosen No 3, if they fit under the bonnet. However, if possible I would look into making an air box and connecting it to a remote filter instead. That would give the best gas flow and possibly give you the option of fitting a somewhat larger and more efficient filter (if you can find room anywhere). If there is not enough room between the throttle bodies and the bonnet consider to remove the trumpets completely and just make a radius instead. Sort of like the pics in this links

Thanks for the reply.

I agree the double foam seems the best.

Had the car mapped today.

Spent about 5 hours there. Was a fun day, guys let me get involved and invited me to their coffee and lunch break.

Fairly happy with the result and the car feels much more powerful. The SC base map was really close. And the tuners commented on how much thought and work had gone into the base map. base map figures were around 104 BHP at the wheels. But the fueling was pretty lean at low revs.

So after what seemed like endless power runs and tweaking. It was very loud, I could even hear it in the next building when i went to the toilet.

So in the end the results was 107.3 BHP at the wheels and 116.5 lb-ft

They could not tell me what the correction would be at the flywheel, but explained that 20% loss was normal, although varies. Any idea what the loss might be?
