Kalibrera hastighetsmätare?

Har noterat att min visar en högre hastighet än jag kör i. Det är originalmätaren (tror jag). Inget jätteproblem i och för sig, men det skulle ju vara bättre om den visade rätt så klart. Läste lite om det på någon engelsk sida, men det verkade väldigt omständigt att fixa. Eller är det nåt man kan göra själv?

Jag har liknande problem, Min visar typ 20 km fel, snacka om glädjemätare . En kompis till mig med stor mekarvana trodde inte det var mycket man kunde göra åt det! Men han kan ju ha fel!? Eller????

Så här står det på somerfordmini.co.uk's sida:

"Any variation from standard wheel dimensions or final drive ratio will probably - unless you are very careful - change the overall gearing of the car and will result in the speedometer requiring recalibration.

Information needed includes the rolling radius of your wheel/tyre combination, final drive ratio and the number of teeth on the speedometer pinion, if any of these differ from standard for your year and model of car. Så det går ju uppenbarligen. Men det står ju inte hur...
